Update On Dangerous Goods – Lithium Batteries

Dear Valued Customers,

We wish to inform you that with immediate effect, all shipments which contain lithium batteries, regardless of the amount or level of lithium contained inside the batteries, are required to be declared and classified as hazardous shipments when being imported into or exported out of the following locations within our network:

Please also take note of the following:

  • All lithium batteries to be shipped are required to be new and sealed, and we will not accept damaged, refuelled, or repacked batteries;
  • For lithium batteries which are declared as used, they will need to be completely discharged, in other words, they should have no charge left and are considered as dead batteries.
